How to Install CentOS 8 Desktop & the New Features of CentOS8

Before you proceed with the installation, check if your system complies with the following requirements:

Step 1
Download CentOS 8 from an official link. You might choose one from these:
- CentOS 8 Linux ISO;
- CentOs 8 Stream ISO.
Step 2
Launch the system for which you need CentOS 8. There, the boot order shall be changed to USBD or DVD. make it in BIOS settings.
Now, when the system is booted, you have this screen.

Choose Install CentOS Linux 8.0
Press Enter.

Choose the installation language and click on Continue

After the installation completion, the following screen appears.
Reboot the system and boot it from the Hard Disk.
For that, click the Reboot button.

When the system is rebooted, you will see the screen with CentOs License data. Click on the License Information and accept the License Agreement.
Click Done.
You will see the screen:
Clinic Finish Configuration.
Step 11
After that, the system directs you to the login page of CentOS 8. Provide your login data in the required fields, and sign in. You will be directed to the Welcome Screen.
There, choose your language and the method of typing. After that, continue by clicking the Next option.
Step 12
Now, it is time to activate location services. Choose On and activate them by clicking the Next button.
When the following screen appears, click on Skip.
When the next screen appears, click on the option Start Using CentOS Linux.
Now, the CentOS 8 desktop will appear.
